Hi!  Welcome to my 
website for Voice lessons and singing lessons.  We are located in Normal Heights at 3043 Adams Ave - San Diego, CA  92116 and teach
out of my home nearby in the area as well,  I also teach throughout the state on a weekly basis.



What do the Lessons Cover

I work with people on vocal & singing technique through private singing instruction 
and group classes.  I often
work with beginners and coach professional singing in either 
long term  lessons or occassional vocal consulting to problem solve
for professional singing.  



What styles of Singing are taught in the Lessons

Stylistically I mainly emphasize techniques of singing rather than style of singing. So my jazz, 
rock, blues,
and theatre clients
generally choose their own songs and other material. 
However, with classical singing, jazz singing,
and musical theatre singing, I have a set voice coursework (these singing books & voice materials
 are available at area music stores) I like to use with students and
then the client or singing student can pick material to work up using the basic voice skills learned
in the technical part of the lesson.  I feel some time
in the voice lesson or singing lesson meeting should be spent on singing songs of the
student/client's choosing though so we make realistic headway toward their voice goals.

First, it is a great place to visit for those of you who want to come in for singing or voice 
lessons from far away.
The average temperature is in the 70s, there is a strong musical
nightlife with lotsa singing and voice performers to catch.  Many venues are very affordable and it is
a good idea to offset your lessons with forays into the local music scene
to see what is going on.
